To celebrate students who are willing to go beyond their regular classroom learning, ExtremeLearners is introducing the ExtremeLearners Award for Class 8 students.

And participation is completely FREE.

Mathematics is not important only because it is a school subject. A strong mathematical foundation is essential for higher education and future careers in engineering, computer science, data science, economics, finance, and physical sciences. Building a strong foundation today keeps multiple paths open for tomorrow.

Learn beyond the classroom

Your school teaches you what you need for your current syllabus. This programme gives you an opportunity to go one step further. You will learn through a structured online Mathematics course designed specifically for school-level mastery, allowing you to learn at your own pace and revisit concepts whenever necessary.

Develop independent learning skills

There is a profound difference between learning because someone tells you to study and learning because you decide to learn. In this programme, nobody will sit beside you to monitor your daily lessons. You take charge of your own schedule, maintain consistency, and complete the course on time—a skill that will prove invaluable as you move into higher classes.

Completing a substantial course independently builds genuine confidence. You will discover that topics that initially appeared difficult become logical and clear when approached with patience and structured reasoning.

What will you get?

1. Free Course Access: Every registered participant receives opportunity of free enrollment in the designated Class 8 Mathematics course.
   
   
2. Course Completion Certificate: Issued to every student who finishes all course modules.
   
   
3. ExtremeLearners Award & Certificate: Awarded to students who complete the course by 31 December 2026 and demonstrate deep conceptual clarity and logical persistence in the ExtremeLearners Learning Challenge to be held during the 2nd week of January 2027. Award recipients will also receive free access to the ExtremeLearners Class 9 Mathematics course.

There are no fees for registration, course access, the evaluation challenge, or certification.

How does it work?

• Step 1 — Register: Submit your entry by sending an email as per the required Registration Detail given below. 
  
  
• Step 2 — Enrol for Free: Upon registration, you will receive instructions to access the designated Class 8 Mathematics course at zero cost.
  
  
• Step 3 — Learn & Master: Watch the lessons, work through the concept problems, and revisit challenging sections at your own pace.
  
  
• Step 4 — Complete the Course: Finish all course requirements to earn your Course Completion Certificate. 
  
  
• Step 5 — Take the Learning Challenge: Students who complete the course by 31 December 2026 will be invited to participate in the online ExtremeLearners Learning Challenge to be held in the 2nd week of January 2027.The challenge features non-routine mathematical problems designed to test your understanding, logical reasoning, and approach to problem-solving.
  
  
• Step 6 — Earn the ExtremeLearners Award: Students demonstrating deep conceptual clarity and logical persistence will be awarded the ExtremeLearners Award and receive free enrollment in the Class 9 course.

A Note for Parents

We encourage parents to support their children in taking on this learning journey. This programme is designed to foster academic discipline, self-regulation, and deep problem-solving skills rather than rote memorisation. While parental encouragement is appreciated, we request that students be allowed to work through the course modules and final challenge through their own independent effort.

What does “ExtremeLearner” mean?

An ExtremeLearner is not necessarily the student who scores the highest marks in school exams.

An ExtremeLearner is a student who:

• Chooses to go beyond what is strictly required by the syllabus
  
  
• Focuses on understanding the why behind mathematical principles, not just memorising formulas
  
  
• Views challenging problems as opportunities to exercise reasoning
  
  
• Takes personal ownership of their learning journey
  
  
• Continues seeking knowledge long after the examination is over
